A good first motor bike?

For a first bike I would reccomend something smaller and light. I personally like suzuki and got a GSXR 750 for my first bike because I was talked into it and wish I would have went with the 600. It was an awesome bike, but I would have been perfectly happy with the 600. Also, I wouldn't go with a very small bike like a 250, simply because you'll be bored with it in about 3 months!
