No offense to your friend but he/she is an idiot. One does not contract because he/she doesn't "take care" of the lips. Exactly what are you supposed to do to make sure that you are "taking care" of your lips? Puh-lease. What a bunch of bs. is a VIRUS that you contract through contact with another infected individual... that has nothing to do with how well you take care of your lips. And if you came in contact with you would know it. are sores (usually just one) on the lips and they basically look like a red blister on the lip. sores do not look appealing... you wouldn't want to come in contact with it.
