New blueprint for blue-chippers?

I just watched "College Football Live" and noticed they were doing a promotion for the "lame streamers". While the story of Cam Newton and his father, Cecil, has entered a new dimension (as reinstatement occurred 1 day post declaration of ineligibility) and taken center stage, these were the following reports: Brett Mussberger is glad because he's rooting for an Auburn v Oregon title game (nice priorities Mush-mouth) and the folks at Auburn were pleased with the outcome ( whew! glad I watched, who knew Auburn supporters would be "for" their best player to be eligible for their most important game?) Totally glossing over the first notion, anyone with an investigative mind worth their salt would notice. Has a new blueprint for blue-chippers been created? If you are a blue-chip athlete, can you not just tell your parent to "do what you need to do, just don't tell me anything or my eligibility will get revoked", and beat the system? Furthermore, should Reggie Bush just have played dumb? I know it would be hard to deny knowing about a house, but does anyone really buy this pitch that Cam Newton is smart enough to be accepted to one of the Souths more respected institutions of higher learning, but is incapable of understanding all the nuances of recruiting that occurred not just at Auburn, but a t MSU as well, and therefore I'm sure, a few other recruiting institutions. If you were a blue-chip athlete from a struggling (or maybe just greedy) family, would you not take advantage of this obvious loophole?
