What color should my furniture & blinds be?

my walls are taupe, i have a zebra print quilt which i hide with a brown fluffy comforter, a few silver tones (due to my television, dvd player & fan), brown door with gold doorknob, cream wardrobe doors & beige carpet. i have a few bits of blacks & whites, browns & creams strewn about too. i don't know whether to make my blinds white or cream, but am clueless on my furniture. i don't like modern furniture, but nothing too old fashioned & boutique-ish! just ordinary wooden (batted around a bit, not shiny) furniture. but what colors??? dark brown? cream? white? medium brown? light brown? i'm looking for WARMTH.
