I want to half amount of gb's my acer laptop uses for auto back up's, how do i do it, anyone please?

my acer laptop hard disk is filling up every week on it's own and i think it's the backing up that is causing it.I would like to check how many gb's it;s set to use.I am running vesta premium.80 gb hard drive.on acer laptop.Thank's.PJ.
