Christian and Catholic?Difference??

The reason people say they are different (including myself) is because Catholics confess their sins to the priest, other Christians such as baptist, pentecostal etc. confess their sins to God. Also, catholics worship idols such as the virgin mary, other saints and God and other Christians only worship God. So there are differences. I am a Evangelical Christian and I have some family members who are catholic christians and believe it or not we do things differently as I mentioned above. Also, like some people have mentioned, all catholics fall under the christian category but not all christians fall under the catholic category. Hope this clarifies things for you.
