How do i beat the puzzle in Ocarina of time?

I am in the room with the blocks and the giant portrait of the poe behind me. I am timed and i have one minute to solve it if i don't then they all turnover and i get more time but they are just more mixed up! I cant beat it is there any special way to do it? And i cant go through the door because it is blocked with iron poles and the jars have arrows and a heart
