How should i ask this girl for her number?

ok im 13 in 7th grade theres this girl idk if i like her but shes nice to me. shes in my homeroom and another cl i sit next to her in both. i guess were kinda friends bcuz we have a few inside jokes and we talk a bit. i want to ask her for her number so should i ask her and if i should, how? thanks
