What does this quote mean to you?

It means everything we do impacts someone else. Choices we make today affect our children later on. If we set up rules that are hard to enforce and hard to live with, we set our children to walk a hard road and become dishearted by the hardness we set them up for. No, we can't go back in time, we can only move forward... Time only moves ahead never behind. We need to consider what the consequences of our actions and choices will be on the next generation and generations to come. If we leave behind great consequences, the next generation will be challenged to make changes to what we once tho't was necessary... It may in fact, cause a ripple and the out-going ripples might start a tidal wave we won't be able to hold back...
