Whats better for working with audio editing software? Duo core or quad core?

definitely the quad. the 4 cores make up for the minor speed difference. when i built my pc i had to look into this as well and the quad will run almost all programs faster. In fact, that is the EXACT cpu i have! its nice, get it.
