Question for Republicans/Conservatives. What are we still doing in Iraq?

I understand the whole ethics of first going to Iraq. We were afraid of the WoMD. Then we seeked to find Hussien. Then(and still are now) trying to rebuild Iraq. But we have been doing this for over 3 years! 81% of Iraqis said they wanted us out in a year. This poll was taken in 2006! So I am asking all Conservative and Republicans(and I will always take a democratic feedback. If Iraqis want us out, then why are we still there?
